Evelyne Mauret has obtained a PhD in process engineering in 1995 from the Université Grenoble Alpes, Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble INP). She was then an associate professor at Grenoble INP-Pagora and she has been a full professor since 2003.
Her research activities are mainly concerned with process engineering (flow of fluids through porous media, filtration, papermaking processes, production of nanocellulose), physical chemistry of lignocellulosic materials and physical and mechanical properties of papers and nanopapers. She supervised or co-supervised 15 PhD theses. She co-authored 50 publications.
From 2011 to 2015, she was director of the Laboratory of Pulp and Paper Science (LGP2, Université Grenoble Alpes, Grenoble INP, CNRS) and the scientific coordinator of Polynat (Carnot Institute). Today, she is deputy director of the LabEx Tec21 and of the CNRS research federation Fed3G and the head of of the research group MatBio (multiscale bio-based materials) at LGP2.
